celebrations of San Miguel Arcángel, saint of San Miguel de
Allende, are the most important of the city. They are celebrated after the
celebrations of Independence, the following weekend to the 29 of
September. Originally it was the indigenous population that celebrated
them, but they became acquiring fame by all the country, and now a great number
of people comes to be part of these spectacular celebrations.
