Image In the south of the state is found the legendary Valle de Santiago and its Seven "Luminarias", a formation of seven extinct volcanos. It is said that these formations are in conjunction with the Big Bear constellation. The volcanic craters, called "hoyas" that can be visited are: "La Alberca", the "Hoya de Alvárez o de Flores" the most pretty and mysterious of all them, the "Hoya de Cíntora", the "Hoya de Old Parangueo"  and the "Hoya de Rincon deParangueo", which has a tunnel of 300 m. long that leads to the salty lake that is in its interior.
 
Exists multiple legends about these "luminarias" and the agricultural lands of this place. It is said that in certain points of this region, vegetables and fruits of great size grow, nobody knows why, but what is certain is that its flavor is less  saturated. Valley of the 7 volcanos
