The Ballon Festival is celebrated at the end of November, public of all the ages and corners of the countrycome to enjoy it. From 6:30 in the morning these gigantic hot air ballons begin to inflate with enormous blazes that warm up the air and elevate them over the Palote reservoir, located within the Metropolitan Park of Leon. The event is fabulous, near 30 min. the ballons fly together filling the sky of magic and color.

 

 

During the day, you can see exhibitions of adventure sports like parachuting ,hang gliding and paragliding and ultralights, among others. In addition there are spectacles like the musical nocturnal rodeo, circus, clowns show and canine events. The zone of foods works throughout the day.

 

At night, near 7:00 p.m. the ballon spectacle returns, the air balloons ignite to create a magical night, full of light and color. More than 150.000 people enjoy this spectacle, be part of it and  don´t forget to be prepared, because the dawn and the night are very cold. Take your camera and anticipate your arrival, the zone of ballons is 3 km from the entrance. To return the little train of the park has service to the access doors.
